Carpool Policy – 2025 School Year
To ensure the safety and efficiency of student dismissal, all families must adhere to the following carpool procedures:
1. Carpool Line Requirements

All parents or designated drivers must remain in the carpool line and inside their vehicles to pick up students. If you prefer not to wait in the carpool line, you may park in the Ensign parking lot and walk inside to retrieve your child directly from the office.

2. Student Release Time

Students will not be released from their classrooms until 3:28 PM. If you need to pick up your student before 3:28 PM, please park in the Ensign parking lot and request early release through the front office following standard procedures.

3. Waiting Areas

Students are not permitted to wait in hallways, anywhere outside, or in common areas. All students must remain in their assigned classrooms until dismissed by staff.

4. Daycare Exchange Location

A designated daycare exchange area is available and located in the back parking lot of Lionheart Middle School.

5. Restricted Access at Vanguard

For safety and traffic flow, a chain will be placed across the southeast entrance of Vanguard at all times. Please use the southwest entrance for access.

6. Vanguard Employee Students

Carpool students of Vanguard employees will be walked over to Vanguard at 3:50 PM, or after carpool has ended. These students must be listed on the approved carpool list authorized by administration. No exceptions will be made for students who are not on this list. Requests to be on the list can be submitted to the Ensign front office
